Dr. Kaitlyn M. Bland, MD

Kaitlyn Bland, MD, provides patient-centered care for families across the community, from newborns to seniors. With a deep commitment to the health and well-being of local families, she believes in building strong relationships to help you thrive, empowering you to play an active role in your health.  

Dr. Bland appreciates the impact of family medicine locally and internationally. She demonstrates empathy and active listening to understand what each patient needs, with a focus on preventive care, skin procedures and biopsies and other in-office procedures, and women’s health.  

A native of Bossier City, Dr. Bland graduated from Benton High School, where she trained to win the girls’ cross country state championship. She received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at LSU Baton Rouge, with a minor in chemistry and psychology. Dr. Bland went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree at LSU School of Medicine Shreveport, where she also completed her family medicine residency. She is board certified in family medicine (American Board of Family Medicine), holding memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and Louisiana American Family Physicians.  

In her free time, Dr. Bland enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends. She loves anything Disney.
